Prof. Haghighi has organized a special issue on "Smart and Advanced Manufacturing" at the Journal of Manufacturing and Materials Processing together with our great colleagues, Prof. Rao at Virginia Tech and Prof. Zhang at Rochester Institute of Technology. We welcome fundamental and applied research on the broad area of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Big Data analytics for intelligent manufacturing.
